DESCRIPTION:This year’s grad class has the opportunity to participate in a Senior Sail Grad Cruise on Tuesday\, December 9th 2025. The cruise is only open to grade twelve students from SRT. This includes SRT students who are taking a Trades Program at another school\, but will be joining us in June for grad. \nStudents will be picked up at SRT at 3:30 by International Stage Line Coach and will travel to Bayshore West Marina at 450 Denman Street in Vancouver. \nWe will be chartering the vessel through Spirit Cruises. Students will board starting at 5:30pm with a scheduled 6:00pm departure and return to the marina at 9:00pm. \nStudents will leave the marina as soon as the coach is loaded and will return at approximately 10:20pm \nDuring this memorable three hour cruise\, students will be treated to a buffet dinner\, and dance the night away while cruising Vancouver’s scenic harbour.

DESCRIPTION:Students will visit the Vancouver Holocaust Education Centre\, where they will participate in a learning workshop that involves examining primary sources and artifacts\, such as letters\, photographs\, toys\, and other personal belongings of Holocaust victims and survivors\, and reflecting on their historical significance. Students will also have the privilege of hearing a Holocaust survivor share their personal story of persecution\, discrimination\, and loss\, offering a meaningful opportunity for reflection and learning. \nAfter this impactful afternoon of remembrance\, students will walk as a group (approximately four blocks) to VanDusen Gardens\, where we will check in as a group. Students will then get into the holiday spirit at VanDusen Festival of Lights\, where they may explore 15 acres of beautifully illuminated botanical gardens\, enjoy festive music\, watch dancing light displays\, sample treats from various food vendors and food trucks\, and capture fun photo opportunities with friends. \nThis trip offers both a powerful educational experience and a magical holiday celebration. \nDue to limited availability\, tickets will be offered on a first-come\, first-served basis. Please respond as soon as possible\, and no later than Friday\, December 5\, as our reserved Festival of Lights tickets can only be held until that date.
