SUMMARY:Hockey Academy Grouse Grind Trip
DESCRIPTION:Students in the hockey academy (8-10) will be traveling to Grouse Mountain to participate in the Grouse Grind on Wednesday\, May 20th. The Grouse Grind is a 2.5-kilometre trail up the face of Grouse Mountain\, commonly referred to as “Mother Nature’s Stairmaster”. Students will be hiking up the trail and riding the Gondola back down (down hill hiking is not permitted). The hike could take students any where from 40 minutes to 75 minutes. There will be an RPM instructor with the students on the trail and a teacher at the top. \nStudents need to dress in layers and bring water! Please bring your Academy Hoodie so you are easy to spot!  Between the bus ride there and the bus ride back there will be a short window of time for lunch at the top. There is a concession at the top\, so students can either bring money for lunch or a lunch.
