{"id":10045,"date":"2024-04-09T09:47:52","date_gmt":"2024-04-09T16:47:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/secondary.sd42.ca\/pmss\/?p=10045"},"modified":"2024-04-09T09:47:52","modified_gmt":"2024-04-09T16:47:52","slug":"important-graduation-information-copied-from-the-parent-portal","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/secondary.sd42.ca\/pmss\/important-graduation-information-copied-from-the-parent-portal\/","title":{"rendered":"IMPORTANT Graduation Information (copied from the Parent Portal)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Dear PMSS Grade 12 Students and Parents\/Guardians:<\/p>\n<p>The PMSS Prom, Dry Grad and the Graduation Ceremony are coming upon us fast!<\/p>\n<p>First and <em>most importantly<\/em>, all Grade 12 students were given a\u00a0<strong><u>GRADUATION CHECKLIST<\/u><\/strong>\u00a0that is <strong><u>due back at the office\u00a0<em>by Wednesday, April 10,\u00a02024<\/em><\/u><\/strong><u>\u00a0<\/u>at the latest (as the sizing for the Caps and Gowns are due then to our supplier).<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0<strong><u>PROM<\/u><\/strong>\u00a0will be held at Swan-e-set on May 24, 2024 at 5:00 p.m.\u00a0\u00a0Tickets are $100 per person.\u00a0<strong><u>DRY GRAD<\/u><\/strong>\u00a0is being held at PMSS on the same evening commencing at 11:00 p.m.\u00a0\u00a0The cost for the Dry Grad is $80 per person.\u00a0<strong><u>Payments for the Prom, Dry Grad and the Graduation ceremony must be made on the Parent Portal (or by cash\/cheque at the school office)\u00a0<em>by April 24, 2024<\/em>.<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Students who would like to bring a guest must complete a\u00a0<strong><u>GUEST APPLICATION FORM<\/u><\/strong>\u00a0&#8211; all guests must be approved by Mr. Sharpe\u00a0<strong><u>prior<\/u>\u00a0<\/strong>to paying the $100 prom guest fee and\/or the $80 dry grad guest fee.\u00a0\u00a0Guest Forms are available at the school office.\u00a0\u00a0<strong><em><u>Once approved, then the cost of their guest must be paid via cash or cheque (made out to the school) at the office\u00a0prior to the April 24, 2024 deadline<\/u><\/em><\/strong><strong><em>.\u00a0 <\/em><\/strong><strong><em>** Please do NOT include any applicable Guest payment on the portal.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>** The\u00a0<strong><u>GRADUATION CEREMONY<\/u><\/strong>\u00a0is being held at Pacific Academy in Surrey on June 25, 2024 at 5:00 p.m.\u00a0\u00a0The cost of the\u00a0<strong><u>CAP, GOWN AND TASSEL PACKAGE<\/u><\/strong>\u00a0is $25 and is <strong><u>also due by the April 24, 2024 deadline.<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You will be able to purchase the $10 Tickets for the <strong>GRADUATION CEREMONY<\/strong>\u00a0itself\u00a0via the Parent Portal\u00a0<strong>(this will be posted on the Parent Portal\u00a0<u>closer to the end of April<\/u>).<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0There will be a\u00a0<u>maximum of six tickets per graduate<\/u>, if there are\u00a0<em>extra<\/em>\u00a0tickets available, there will be a separate portal message that will be sent out in regards as to how to purchase those tickets.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Please contact the office or Mme Simard in the Library if you have any questions regarding the above.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dear PMSS Grade 12 Students and Parents\/Guardians: The PMSS Prom, Dry Grad and the Graduation Ceremony are coming upon us fast!
