Your 2026 PMSS Grads<\/p>\n

We’re getting down to\u00a0crunch-time<\/em>! A couple items of note…<\/span><\/p>\n1. A reminder that the\u00a0Round 2 Ceremony ticket sale<\/strong>\u00a0is still live on the Parent Portal and will\u00a0CLOSE at the end of day on Wednesday, June 10th (this will NOT be extended)<\/strong>. The tickets are available to all crossing<\/em> Graduates who \u2018haven\u2019t already\u2019 maxed out on their allowable\u00a0<\/em>amount of tickets.\u00a0Round 2 is a maximum of 2 tickets per crossing Graduate.<\/strong>\u00a0** Once we do a final count of total sales later this week, we will announce whether or not there will be a\u00a0Round 3<\/em>.<\/span><\/p>\n2. We are attaching\u00a0important\u00a0<\/strong>details for families regarding the Ceremony itself\u00a0<\/strong>(drop off times, etc.)<\/span><\/p>\n3. Also – a reminder that the Grads have their\u00a0M<\/strong>andatory Grad Dress Rehearsal on Friday, June 19th at 9:00 a.m.<\/strong> in the school’s Multipurpose Room.\u00a0 This is where they will be given their Cap & Gown package and pre-ordered Ceremony Tickets.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>Please contact the Ceremony Organizer Mr. Han\u00a0directly\u00a0<\/em>if there is a legitimate reason your Grad cannot attend this important rehearsal (addison_han@sd42.ca).<\/span><\/p>\n******************************************<\/p>\n
PMSS Grad Ceremony Reminders:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\nPlease be at the Chandos Theatre at Pacific Academy by 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday June 23rd<\/sup><\/u><\/strong>\u00a0in your cap and gown.<\/u>\u00a0You will line up with the same<\/em> usher as you did at the June 19th<\/sup> Dress Rehearsal, in the same<\/u> order.<\/p>\n\n- Wear nice pants and shoes.<\/li>\n
- Do\u00a0NOT<\/u>\u00a0chew gum.<\/li>\n
- VERY IMPORTANT<\/u>:\u00a0\u00a0please leave your cell phones and purses\/bags with your parents\/guardians.<\/strong><\/li>\n
- Be sure to eat a good meal prior to Grad as you won’t enjoy it the same if your physical needs are not being met.<\/li>\n
- You may decorate your Cap and put your name INSIDE<\/u><\/strong> it if you want your cap back.<\/li>\n
- Be sure that your gown and sash are\u00a0steamed or pressed<\/u>\u00a0as the wrinkles\u00a0will<\/em>\u00a0show up in the pictures.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

PMSS Valedictory Ceremony Details are as follows<\/u>:<\/strong><\/p>\nDate<\/u>:\u00a0Tuesday, June 23, 2026<\/p>\n
Where<\/u>: \u00a0Chandos Pattison Auditorium at Pacific Academy, 10238 \u2013 168 Street, Surrey<\/p>\n
Time(s):<\/u>\u00a0\u00a0Grads to arrive by\u00a03:00 p.m.<\/strong>\u00a0for a 3:15 p.m. final dress rehearsal<\/p>\n\n- Grad Group Photo to be taken at 4:00 p.m. sharp,<\/em><\/li>\n
- Doors open for families at 4:15 p.m.<\/li>\n
- Ceremony starts promptly at 5:00 p.m. and will last approx. 2 hours.<\/li>\n
- Families\/guests will\u00a0NOT<\/u>\u00a0be able to enter the building prior to 4:15 p.m. so they can either wonder the grounds or, drop off your Graduate and return.\u00a0 We ask that all guests arrive and be seated\u00a0no later than 4:50 p.m.<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0as the Ceremony itself starts promptly at 5:00 p.m.<\/li>\n
- We respectfully ask that all Guests stay for the\u00a0entirety<\/u><\/em>\u00a0of the Ceremony as it is very disruptive for people to go in and out.<\/li>\n
- There is no reserved seating and tickets will NOT be sold at the door. We are nearing capacity for the venue so all guests MUST have a ticket to enter.<\/strong><\/li>\n
- Bouquets of helium balloons are\u00a0NOT<\/u><\/strong>\u00a0allowed in the auditorium.<\/li>\n
- NO smoking or vaping on the property\u00a0whatsoever<\/em>\u00a0\u2013 you will need to go\u00a0off campus<\/u>\u00a0<\/em>for this.<\/strong><\/li>\n
- We strongly encourage that families carpool as parking fills up VERY<\/em> quickly.<\/li>\n
- There is a limited number of wheelchair accessible spots at the back of the main\/orchestra level.\u00a0 For those families that contacted the PMSS office for one of those spots, there will be parking attendants on site to assist you and to tell you where to enter the building to avoid the busy main door congestion.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
