{"id":3098,"date":"2016-06-27T17:10:32","date_gmt":"2016-06-27T17:10:32","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/schools.sd42.ca\/pmss\/?page_id=3098"},"modified":"2026-03-11T13:30:05","modified_gmt":"2026-03-11T20:30:05","slug":"pac-meeting-dates-information","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/secondary.sd42.ca\/pmss\/pac-meeting-dates-information\/","title":{"rendered":"PAC Meeting Information &#038; Dates"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Parent Advisory Committee would like to extend an invitation to parents\/guardians to attend our PAC meetings. \u00a0\u00a0We encourage you to stay involved in your student\u2019s education, and being a part of our meetings is one way to do so.<\/p>\n<p>All parents are members of the PAC and are welcome to attend. Each meeting we strive to have a guest speaker, generally one of our teachers, who shares information about their faculty. Often, PMSS staff members, present information about their programs and\/or departments, the administration brings the PAC up to date with what\u2019s going on at the school, and the PAC discusses other matters which support the school and students.<\/p>\n<p>Your <em><strong>2025-2026 PMSS PAC Executive<\/strong><\/em> is:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Chair: Danica Isherwood<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Treasurer: Jennifer Scharf<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Secretary: Aimee Bilodeau<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>DPAC Rep: Lindsay Hine<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>What you need to know:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>NO fundraising!<\/li>\n<li>NO committees!<\/li>\n<li>You will be informed about the happenings in and around the school by our administration who attends each meeting.<\/li>\n<li>You will hear from the teachers about what is happening in the various faculties; i.e. what\u2019s new in math or what the requirements are for graduation.<\/li>\n<li>You will learn about the role you can play in your teen\u2019s high school experience.<\/li>\n<li>You will hear about happenings in the community that may affect your student<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Meetings are generally held on Mondays (<em>with the odd exception<\/em>) on the following dates:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>1st PAC Meeting for 2025-2026 Year:\u00a0 <strong>Tuesday, September 16, 2025 @ 7:00 pm<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>September 16th PAC Minutes:\u00a0 <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/document\/d\/1gWv1vKsYyUMmH5jJUXmeGT5AfYqkbFa27EusilXIO5U\/edit?usp=sharing\">meeting minutes<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>2nd Meeting:\u00a0 <strong>Monday, October 27, 2025 @ 7:00 pm<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>October 27th PAC Minutes:\u00a0 <a href=\"https:\/\/secondary.sd42.ca\/pmss\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/PAC-Minutes-Oct-27-rev.pdf\">PAC Minutes &#8211; Oct 27 rev<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>3rd Meeting:\u00a0 <strong>January 20, 2026 @ 7:00 p.m.<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>January 20th PAC Minutes: <a href=\"https:\/\/secondary.sd42.ca\/pmss\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/PAC-Minutes-Jan-20.pdf\">PAC Minutes &#8211; Jan 20<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Future Meeting (TBA)<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you have never been to one of our informal and often <em>entertaining<\/em> meetings, we encourage you to attend.
