All students will be in attendance from 9:00-10:00 only. Students report to their homerooms where they can pay student fees ($28), purchase locks ($5 each) if needed, receive a student planner, and pick up another copy of their timetable. Lockers will be assigned on this day too. Once we finish at 10, students can take some time to familiarize themselves with their timetable and floor plan.<\/p>\n
Important note:<\/strong> Students entering Grade 9 will have new homerooms assigned. Please check the bulletin board in the main entrance upon arrival to see who your new homeroom teacher will be.<\/p>\n At\u00a0MRSS we do not put out a list of school supplies for students. The essentials such as a binder filled with lined paper, subject dividers, pencils, pens, a ruler, highlighters, pencil crayons and a scientific calculator are the staples of school life and can be reused from previous years or purchased new \u2013 it\u2019s up to you!<\/p>\n All grade 8 students will need two locks: one for your regular locker and a second lock to secure your items in a PE locker while in PE class. You can provide your own lock or you can purchase combination locks from us for $5 each.<\/p>\n All grade 8 students will receive a paper planner. We do have an app for our planner too which has been hugely successful!\u00a0We recommend that parents download the app. Once your student gets their timetable, parents can enter the details to the\u00a0app and always know what classes your child has on any given day! The app is available from the App Store \u2013 it\u2019s free and safe to download.
