MRSS is proud of our long history of formal graduation ceremonies and celebrations of student success. Our graduating class has much to look forward to in this, their grade 12 year, and in the future. <\/span><\/p>\n

We will hold a formal graduation ceremony on Friday, June 4, 2027<\/strong>.
\nThe following day we have a banquet and dance at Swan-E-Set Bay Resort and Country Club, followed by a Dry Grad celebration at MRSS on Saturday, June 5, 2027<\/strong><\/p>\n

*Mandatory Grad Rehearsal For Students takes place Wednesday, June 2nd, 3pm MRSS Gym*<\/strong><\/p>\n

Grad Clothing On Sale Oct.13 – Nov.5th 2027<\/h2>\n

Grad clothing is on sale NOW, at lunch time in room 1117. Samples are available to try on. Final Deadline to purchase is THURSDAY NOVEMBER 5th by end of lunch. Make your purchase early to avoid disappointment!<\/p>\n

Thinking about what comes after high school? This is a great opportunity for students and families to explore their post-secondary options!<\/div>\n
The evening will begin with two classroom sessions<\/b>:<\/div>\n
    \n
  • Session 1:<\/b> Visit a university or college of your choice<\/li>\n
  • Session 2:<\/b> Choose a different university or college to learn about<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
    After the classroom sessions, all participating post-secondary schools will be set up in the cafeteria for a mini fair<\/b>, giving you another chance to ask questions and explore your options.<\/div>\n
    This event only happens once a year, so don\u2019t miss it!<\/b><\/div>\n
    Not sure which two schools to choose? Students can message Shannon Domitruk on Teams<\/b> for help deciding which schools may be the best fit for their interests and future plans.<\/div>\n

    Dry Grad<\/h2>\n

    Our Dry Grad celebration is exceptionally well attend by most grads. It’s a night of fun, food and friendship held at the school with doors open from 11:30pm-12:30am.<\/p>\n

    Grad Trips – A Warning for Parents<\/h2>\n

    Parents may hear about a \u2018Breakaway Tour\u2019, \u2018Grad Trip\u2019 or \u2018S\u2019 Trip from your graduating student. Be advised that this is NOT a school-sanctioned event<\/strong>. MRSS does not organize grad trips \u2013 ever. These trips are organized by a private company and are in no way approved by nor affiliated with our school or school district. Parents are advised to do due diligence and contact the company directly for complete details. We have no contact details nor information about any trips \u2013 your student should be able to provide it to you.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/header>\n
