{"id":6057,"date":"2025-09-03T11:02:40","date_gmt":"2025-09-03T18:02:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/secondary.sd42.ca\/gss\/?post_type=tribe_events&#038;p=6057"},"modified":"2025-09-04T12:35:37","modified_gmt":"2025-09-04T19:35:37","slug":"c-t-dab-18","status":"publish","type":"tribe_events","link":"https:\/\/secondary.sd42.ca\/gss\/event\/c-t-dab-18\/","title":{"rendered":"Student Photo Day"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Come spiffed up for your photo today.<\/p>\n<p>Grads, its wise to have a picture taken too so you get your student card<\/p>\n<p>\ud83d\udcf8\u00a0<strong>Main Portrait Day:\u00a0September 29\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>All students will be photographed in the morning. <strong>Each student will be left with a Camera Card to bring home<\/strong> with them that will include their online access details for ordering Printed\u00a0or Digital portraits.<\/p>\n<p>Less than a week after photo day, Darby Photos will deliver:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A\u00a0<strong>proof sheet <\/strong>of each student\u2019s portraits.<\/li>\n<li>A\u00a0<strong>custom Student ID card<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The proof will include an\u00a0<strong>access code<\/strong>\u00a0for families to view images online and order printed or digital copies. Each student will also receive a\u00a0<strong>Digital ID Card<\/strong>, available for\u00a0<u>free<\/u>\u00a0download through the gallery and compatible with digital wallets for convenience.<\/p>\n<p>If you miss portrait day below is information on retakes.<\/p>\n<p>\ud83d\udd04\u00a0<strong>Retake Day:\u00a0October 14\u00a0<\/strong><br \/>\nDarby Photos\u2019 retake process ensures that every student who needs a new portrait has the opportunity. The return &#8220;proof&#8221; process from main photo day is repeated with retakes<\/p>\n<p><strong>Reasons for Retakes:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The student was absent on the main photo day.<\/li>\n<li>The student attended but would like a retake (family preference \u2013 any reason is valid).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Retake Requests:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Absent on main photo day<\/strong>\u2192 Students will automatically be scheduled for retakes. No parent\/student action required.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Requesting a retake<\/strong>\u2192 <strong>Parents\/guardians\/student must submit a request through the\u00a0online gallery\u00a0by the deadline listed on the proof sheet.<\/strong> Instructions for accessing the gallery and submitting requests will be included with the proof.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><em><u>Please note: <\/u><\/em><\/strong>students who attend the retake session will forfeit access to their original main photo images. The retake will replace the original for the ordering galleries, yearbook, MYBC and all office image products.
